Bainbridge Island

Below are some island photos I took last week. I've never seen another place with so many nice gardens- the majority of these pictures are from random yards I came across while out walking. I'm very sad I didn't manage to get a shot of the gorgeous Mt. Ranier across the Puget Sound- but these will have to do:

Recapitulation

What a week! The craziness started Tuesday: I spent the day packing, going to my music lesson, and writing a paper for my Shakespeare class. Have you ever read Hamlet on the fly? I was actually very sorry I didn't have more time to enjoy it. Definitely on my "to read again" list.
 On Wednesday my family and I drove up to northeastern Washington to visit my grandma. The rest of the week was spent walking around the island, canoeing, taking the ferry into Seattle, filming the last clip of a certain video, and riding in the car. On Friday, after spending the day in downtown Seattle, we dropped my dad of at the U-Dub where his 200 mile bike ride would start early Saturday morning. The next day we drove down to Portland, swam with cousins before heading to the race finish line- and managed to get some pizza at 10:30 before driving home. Pictures to come!
